Mission Objective: Connect ADP to Azure Seamlessly
ADP’s tech expertise and documentation are sorely lacking, so here’s a concise guide to making this integration work in Azure, since ADP doesn’t seem to have a clear solution.
Gear Check:
Azure Portal Access
Global Admin Credentials
The Play:
Create an Enterprise app in Azure if you don’t already have one. We’re working with one named “WFN-Recruitment-Prod.”
Link this app to ADP. The specifics on how to do this are murky—ADP’s instructions are vague at best, and I’m still piecing it together myself. Proceed with caution. Hostile Territory.
Then, assign these permissions to the app:
There’s no documentation explaining why these permissions are required, but they’re essential for functionality.
Grant admin consent to the permissions and assign the app to a group. After that, the “schedule interview” feature in ADP should connect to calendars and operate correctly.
Mission Value
Allow scheduling for HR inside ADP to connect to Exchange Online. Schedules live, ops smooth.
Field Notes
ADP’s frontline support might need a shove to rig the initial link—their intel’s spotty, so brace for static. Hold the line with patience and grit; it’s a slog, but you’ll break through.
